Evansville's Colt Ryan has been chosen as the StatSheet Missouri Valley Player of the Week for the week ending March 4th. StatSheet's Missouri Valley Freshman of the Week goes to Adam Wing from Evansville. Ryan had respectable numbers with 4 rebounds per game, 60% shooting, and 3 three pointers per game. The Evansville senior put these numbers up in wins versus Wichita State and Indiana State.
Ryan led scoring for the Aces with 29 points on 55% shooting in a close 59-56 win over Wichita State. He then led all scoring with 31 points and added 8 assists in an 84-68 victory against Indiana State.
This is one of three StatSheet Missouri Valley Player of the Week awards for Colt Ryan. He has also received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is Doug McDermott, a junior from Creighton. Honorable mention goes to Jeff Early, a senior from Southern Illinois.

Adam Wing averaged 26 minutes starting both games for Evansville. His average in shooting (100.0%) topped all Missouri Valley freshmen. In the win over Wichita State, Wing contributed 6 points and 4 rebounds. Then in the win against Indiana State, he added 4 points and 4 rebounds.
This is a new honor for Adam Wing, the first time he has won StatSheet Missouri Valley Freshman of the Week. Jalen Pendleton from Southern Illinois grabs runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Marcus Marshall from Missouri State. Ka`Darryl Bell, who finished 4th, was the highest ranking freshman for Bradley. Bradley has yet to win StatSheet Missouri Valley Player of the Week.
